David Anthony Ruck, who made headlines in 2013 when he started a Facebook page called the "Pākehā Party", was convicted by a jury in July of three charges of threatening to kill, court documents show.

The charges related to a May 2020 video posted to YouTube and two emails sent in October 2021.

In the video, he shared conspiracy theories about the New Zealand Government's relationship with the Trump administration, which Judge Paul Kellar said was his "right". The video crossed the line into criminal behaviour when "in reasonably emphatic terms, you make comments towards Jacinda Ardern, the New Zealand Prime Minister, stating that you have every right to walk up to Wellington and shoot her in the face".

Unhinged and not very nuanced, but the reality is that Jacinda has done more harm then good so such "strong" opinions were bound to happen.

Child vaccination rates in areas like south Auckland remain in a state of crisis as healthcare providers are stuck in a post-Covid-19 catch-up phase, according to an expert.

Figures from the Ministry of Health, covering the period between 1 July and 30 September last year, show just 65 percent of children in Counties Manukau were fully vaccinated at six months old.

Dr Nikki Turner is the medical director of the University of Auckland's Immunisation Advisory Centre. She said while vaccination numbers could often improve as providers "catch-up", the situation was dire.

Good luck with that, as the word "Vaccine" is now tainted due to how Covid was handled.

More than 200 police staff - from recruits right up to senior inspectors and top cops - have faced criminal charges in the last few years, including for drugs, fraud, serious physical and sexual assaults, kidnapping, family harm and driving offences.

From the start of 2015 to the end of October 2022 a total of 213 constabulary and non-sworn staff were charged with criminal offending.

Police provided the information on charges to the Herald under the Official Information Act.

The information stated that 213 staff faced 274 charges arising from 207 “incidents”.

In some cases, employees faced multiple charges.

Of the total charges 82 convictions were recorded, 157 were discharged, dismissed, withdrawn or acquitted after a trial before a jury or judge alone.

Not setting a very good example.

Wilson's analysis, which has not yet been published, covered internet sites known for extreme posts, including Gab, 4chan, some New Zealand channels of secure message service Telegram, Reddit and 8kun.

The issue needed more hard data, and more political attention, he said.

I certainly would like to know their methodology for analysis including the threads they have observed in the various places. Of course the biggest problem is equating that Twitter, Reddit or 4Chan represent the majority of society. They are all their own echo chambers at the end of the day, but some allow more creative thinking then others.

Taps run dry: Wellington bar out of CO2 reserves

Radio New Zealand (NZ) 23/01/2023

A Wellington bar manager says he's been forced to stop serving tap beer after running out of it's last stock of carbon dioxide.

The country's last of two food grade CO2 plants, the Todd Energy Kāpuni plant, shut down a month ago amid safety issues, leaving the industry facing shortages and increasing importing costs.

Counter Culture Board Game Cafe and Bar manager Jack Tallott said they had stopped serving tap beer after using their last CO2 reserves last week.

This is fine.

Research explores milk nutrition benefits for infants

Radio New Zealand (NZ) 28/01/2023

Milk itself physically transformed du> ring the digestive process, forming a semi-solid structure.

Those changes had implications for how proteins and lipids - fatty components - were delivered to the small intestine and, ultimately, how the body sourced nutrition, she said.

The project would focus on infants, and how milk and milk products could provide them with nutrition.

This is where capitalism goes wrong. The focus should be on making women healthier so they have the capacity to produce nutrient rich milk themselves.

Lindsay Mitchell: Sepuloni

Bassett, Brash & Hide (NZ) 25/01/2023

For starters emergency housing is in the social development portfolio. The take-over of motels leading to social mayhem (think Rotorua) has been a tragedy for those housed in them and those in their surrounds. The waiting list for public housing has sky-rocketed since Sepuloni has been Minister.

Worst of all Sepuloni has overseen a rise in children living in unemployed homes. The damage to their outcomes is well researched and documented. But unheeded by this government whose sole focus has been to lift incomes with their fingers firmly in their ears over the unintended consequences of paying people to do nothing ... except have children.

If all of the above is "excelling" I hate to envisage what failing looks like.

Sounds like "Diversity Hire" was more important then competence.

This week I might just as well have sat back and let Pfizer shoot itself in the foot, except mainstream media was missing in action. Project Veritas managed to record a senior Pfizer executive admitting they were conducting experiments aimed at mutating even more virulent strains of Covid. The video accumulated more than 20 million views over 48 hours, but among MSM only Tucker Carlson and briefly the Daily Mail ran with this astounding story. Nothing here in New Zealand, as if the most prolific serial killer in history had been caught in the act, but it was judged unnewsworthy.

Answering a question in the House of Commons this week about record levels of excess deaths, the UK Minister for the Environment Therese Coffey replied briefly that it didn’t matter because it was happening all over Europe. Then abruptly sat down. She said this despite the crisis necessitating the construction of temporary morgues across the UK. It is comments like this, along with the Project Veritas sting, which reveals a striking failure of commonsense behind the official pandemic response. So how could this have happened?

The money shot:

Time to rein in governments intent on extending their power far beyond any recognised remit. Time to annul freedom from legal liability, they lied to us..

Yes, I understand the issue of tainted product, of substituted product and of toxicity, and the need to regulate dietary, or food supplements. But sweeping dietary and food ingredients with a long history of known use, in the same legislative framework as these technologies:

  • new chemical entity – Compound never regulated or approved (not an active moiety).

  • new molecular entity - active moieties (biologically active) not previously approved

  • new active substance – new substance, or mixture of isomers which differ from previously authorised.

  • new biological entity – contains human or non-human cells, bacteria, viruses, and material derived from those cells or viruses. Can be modified or engineered (including gene-edited).

...is wrong. And from the start, Andrew Little’s Bill downplays the degree to which the safety and risk from new drugs & biologics remain profoundly uncertain. Iatrogenic injury from medical inventions and drugs is far more extensively documented than dietary and food supplements.

The Bill is so messy, so complex that there is not a clear line of sight to understand how and who is responsible, when something goes wrong.

Long read, but to be expected as this is not a simple topic.

No Happy Endings in Transland

Crisis Magazine (US) 20/01/2023

The boy Jonas told someone in pre-school that he was a girl. The pre-school swung into ideological action.

They invited parents to come in and celebrate this new girl. The pre-school stopped calling him Jonas and began referring to him as Rosa. All of this was done without his mom’s permission. In fact, it was done without her knowledge. She went to the school and discovered that the new name Rosa was on everything belonging to her boy, including his cubby. Let this sink in. This happened in pre-school.

The mom went to a therapist who said, as these modern-day witchdoctors are wont to do, “you have to learn to accept this.”

Censure and three unhappy endings. Certainly a very "inclusive" ideology.

Oregon Trail on the Apple ][. Caption: You hvae died of suddenly.

This is what Pfizer had to say about the video in a statement on its official company website (passages of particular significance have been bolded by the editor):

Allegations have recently been made related to gain of function and directed evolution research at Pfizer and the company would like to set the record straight.

In the ongoing development of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, Pfizer has not conducted gain of function or directed evolution research.Working with collaborators, we have conducted research where the original SARS-CoV-2 virus has been used to express the spike protein from new variants of concern. This work is undertaken once a new variant of concern has been identified by public health authorities. This research provides a way for us to rapidly assess the ability of an existing vaccine to induce antibodies that neutralize a newly identified variant of concern. We then make this data available through peer reviewed scientific journals and use it as one of the steps to determine whether a vaccine update is required.

No more COVID

Rintrah (NL) 18/01/2023

I’m not going to post about COVID anymore. There’s no reason for me to spend my time convincing people not to take these vaccines, as I did throughout 2021. The writing is on the wall by now. The problem hasn’t ended either, excess mortality in 2022 is higher than in 2020 and 2021 and we just had a massive wave from the most brain-damaging COVID variant seen so far, BA.5.

You interfered in the evolutionary dynamics of a sarbecovirus, leading to massive unprecedented waves of infection in the middle of summer and we’ll now find out what the long term repercussions will be. I think it will look like accumulating brain damage and immune damage leading to “mysterious” excess mortality, but time will tell, assuming you’ll still have the cognitive capacity to recognize what happened of course.

But the reason I’m done with this subject is because people don’t really care about understanding any of this.

Dutch bro, no. :(

Hidden Camera Uncovers Pfizer Creepiness

Tom Woods (US) 28/01/2023

Project Veritas just released a new video, this one featuring a Jordon Trishton Walker, director of Research and Development, Strategic Operations and mRNA Scientific Planning at Pfizer.

Now maybe the guy is a loon and nothing he says is trustworthy. I’m simply reporting to you what he said.

What he said is damaging enough, though, that the army of Americans who have televisions for brains immediately questioned whether he really held the position that Project Veritas said he did. That attempt was a dead end, since it’s been verified that he is indeed the the person he and Project Veritas both claim he is.

Here’s a sample of what Walker says in the hidden-camera video.

Transcript of the Project Veritas video that has now hit 40+ million views.

I was sceptical at first, but given silence from the usual characters, a press statement from Pfizer, senate questions and the overall state of clown world, I have to consider that this is a legitimate statement from a legitimate employee.

'Die Unfair Arbeitskommission'

Dr Ah Kahn Syed (AU) 24/01/2023

This is going to be long so grab a beer or a cup of tea and settle in. I need to take you on a journey in time and show you how the capture of the judiciary in Nazi Germany has been directly mirrored in Australia today. And this capture is the primary reason why employee mandates - for investigational gene therapies - have been allowed to be implemented despite a promise to the world in 1947 that this would never happen again.

Highlight:

As a point of circular interest, section 51.23a of the Australian constitution was implemented as a direct result of the Nuremberg doctors’ trial. It was specifically included to prohibit conscription of doctors by the state:

“the provision of maternity allowances, widows' pensions, child endowment, unemployment, pharmaceutical, sickness and hospital benefits, medical and dental services (but not so as to authorize any form of civil conscription), benefits to students and family allowances;”

"Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there?" - V.

'Government Imprimatur'

JP (AU) 30/11/2022

"An exposé of syringe fundamentalism in Australia's Fair Work Commission"

What Deputy President Coleman is effectively saying is that unless evidence can be brought to the FWC exceeding the infallible authority of ATAGI’s council of 15 ‘mouth-of-god’ prophet-experts, he cannot be persuaded to believe any other view regarding vaccines. To say this standard of evidence is far beyond what is reasonable in a Commission, not even a court, is an understatement and reinforces my earlier claim that the FWC itself has institutionalised injustice. Suppose a single mother is fired from her cashier job because of a vaccine mandate. In order to overrule ATAGI’s ‘authority’, she must come to that hearing bearing evidence exceeding ATAGI, or else with evidence utterly destroying ATAGI’s credibility as said ‘authority’. Neither are possible for common folk; it wasn’t even possible for Dr. Petrovsky. And thus we have institutionalised injustice; a bar of evidence is set higher than the Cosmic Mountain where only angels can fly. Us ‘normal’ people just have to grin and bear it.

Government says so.

the AI wars have already begun

el gato malo (US) 26/01/2023

Stop and really think about this for a moment.

imagine a government whose instincts when faced with serious questions about its own process, credibility, veracity, and sagacity reaches as its first instinct not for “transparency, communication, and dialogue” but for “censorship, propaganda, and the literal use of weapons grade media and data manipulation upon its own people.”

can you seriously think of ANY characteristic more disqualifying for trust?

“if you question elections, you’re a domestic terror threat” is the line of despotism, not democracy.

A Bad Cat, on point. Mainstream media and government are on their last legs as far as trust goes.

The day I understood the 'good German'

Filipe Rafaeli (BR) 24/02/2022

However, even after studying and watching everything possible, for me, one single character always remained a great mystery: it is the "good German". This person was the normal citizen of Germany, not radical, but who did not react when the Holocaust occurred. He was part of a society that accepted the elimination of 6 million Jews with a terrifying normality.

It wasn't five or ten thousand people. It was six million. From within Germany, the Jewish population was relevant: 566,000 citizens. Therefore, practically every German had contact with some Jewish family. They were a society that lived in reasonable harmony. Ordinary Germans went to Jewish businesses. Germans had Jewish employees. Their children attended the same schools. They all went to the same clubs, the same restaurants, and played sports together. Friendships were common and natural.

Less than ten years later, how do you, an ordinary citizen, accept that a family of neighbors is removed on trains to concentration camps? How do you accept that your Jewish friend's neighborhood business is closed, with the owners removed from society, without any protest?

Presented, without further comment.

The Nazis Were Leftists, Deal With It

Paul H Jossey (US) 25/09/2018

From 2018:

The left believes the opposite. These people are distrustful of the excesses and inequality capitalism produces. They give primacy to group rights and identity. They believe factors like race, ethnicity, and gender compose the primary political units. They don’t believe in strong property rights. They believe it is the government’s responsibility to solve social problems. They call for public intervention to “equalize” disparities and render our social fabric more inclusive (as they define it). They believe the free market has failed to solve issues like campaign finance, income inequality, minimum wage, access to healthcare, and righting past injustices. These people talk about “democracy” — the method of collective decisions.

By these definitions the Nazis were firmly on the left. National Socialism was a collectivist authoritarian movement run by “social justice warriors.” That this brand of “justice” benefited only some based on immutable characteristics perfectly aligns with the modern brand. The Nazi ideal embraced identity politics based on the primacy of the people or “volk” and invoked state-based solutions for every possible problem. It was nation-based socialism — the nation being especially important to those who bled in the Great War.

"if you’re not at the table you’re on the menu."

Long form, very much food for thought.

Japan, the Netherlands to Join U.S. Chip Ban Against China

Alliance for American Manufacturing (US) 13/12/2022

Big news for people who like news about the Biden administration’s ban of the sale of advanced semiconductor chips and chipmaking equipment to China: The United States has reportedly brought the Japanese and Dutch governments on board.

This is the biggest development in this story since the ban went into effect in October, reports Bloomberg, because Japan and the Netherlands are home to some of those critical equipment manufacturers. It’s very difficult to make these top-of-the-heap chips, the kinds needed to run things like supercomputers and self-driving cars and weapons platforms. And what makes the U.S. ban so devastating is that it goes after the tools needed to make them. China needs these tools to continue the development of its relatively underdeveloped domestic semiconductor industry. And even as most of the manufacture of advanced chips is located offshore in places like Taiwan, a lot of the highly specialized equipment needed to make chips is actually American-made.

The question is, what right does the U.S. have in interfering with the economic evolution of another country in this manner. Second China has the capacity to simply "brute force" computational power. You don't need the latest and greatest, you just need more nodes.

DSD vs. PCM: Myth vs. Truth

Benjamin Zwickel (US) 26/07/2021

Direct Stream Digital (DSD) has become a big thing in high-end digital audio. Simplified encoding and decoding, along with ultra-high sampling frequencies, promise unparalleled performance. Is this what we’ve all been waiting for or just mass-marketing hype? This blog separates the hype from the technical facts. I’ll explain in what ways DSD has the advantage and in what ways pulse-code modulation (PCM) is better.

If you're not sure if you should believe the statements in this blog which contradict much of the marketing hype, myth, and legend in the audiophile industry, feel free to check the references at the end of this blog.

As always, keep in mind Audio is a very subjective thing.

Ventricular Arrhythmia and COVID-19 Vaccine-associated Myocarditis

The Pediatric Infection Disease Journal (EU) 19/01/2023

A 17-year-old male presented with COVID-19 vaccine-associated myocarditis. Six months later, due to chest discomfort with exercise, the patient underwent an exercise stress test that revealed a 3-beat run of nonsustained ventricular tachycardia at 230 bpm at peak exercise. The long-term outcomes of COVID-19 vaccine-associated myocarditis are unclear. This patient had nonsustained ventricular tachycardia over 6 months after diagnosis.

See Figure 1, the little white arrow, is pointing at scar tissue.

Interpretation: Although rare, a statistically significant association between BNT162b2 vaccination and myo/pericarditis and AKI was observed. While the association between BNT162b2 and myo/pericarditis has been confirmed internationally, further research is required to understand the association of AKI. BNT162b2 was not found to be associated with most of the AESIs investigated, providing reassurances around the safety of the vaccine.

Page 5:

The safety of BNT162b2 is monitored predominantly through a spontaneous reporting (passive) system by Medsafe, in collaboration with the Centre for Adverse Reactions Monitoring (CARM), with support from the COVID-19 Vaccine and Immunisation Programme within the Ministry of Health New Zealand. This system relies on reports being voluntarily submitted by health care professionals and the public. Although it is effective at signal detection, it can be subject to several limitations, namely underreporting, incomplete reports, limited information on cases and reporting biases.

Remember that in Medsafe's own words "it is estimated that only 5% of all reactions are reported so there is still room for improvement."

Page 12:

These findings provide further reassurance on the safety profile of the vaccine, particularly from a New Zealand specific context. Importantly, studies have found that the risk of any of these AESI following SARS-CoV-2 infection is substantially greater than after COVID-19 mRNA vaccination.

There it is.

Also, they only looked at 21 days post vaccination when there have been multiple signals there can be problem 60 days out.

With regard to medical and pharmacological research projects, I.G. Farben became involved in experimental programmes using patients from the Nazi regime’s euthanasia programmes and healthy subjects recruited without their consent from concentration camps, on whom various pharmacological substances were tested, including sulfamide and arsenical derivatives and other preparations whose composition is not precisely known (B-1012, B-1034, 3382 or Rutenol, 3582 or Acridine), generally in relation to the treatment of infectious diseases, such as typhus, erysipelas, scarlet fever or paratyphoid diarrhoea.

Furthermore, I.G. Farben played a decisive role in the German army’s chemical warfare programme, contributing to the development of the first two neurotoxic substances, later known as ‘nerve agents’, tabun and sarin.

Some of these activities came to light as a result of the one the famous Nuremberg Trials in 1947, which saw 24 executives and scientists from I.G. Farben brought to justice for, among other offences, the use of slave labour in the concentration camps and forced experimentation with drugs on prisoners.
